Program Costs & Fundraising
Each season, we ask families to contribute a booster fee. These funds directly support our basketball program by covering essential expenses not included in school funding.
1
How Much is the Booster Fee?
The booster fee for the 2025–2026 season is $100 per player.

All booster fees are due by November 30, 2025. Families may pay the fee online via Venmo, CashApp, or by check.
2
What the Booster Fee Covers
The booster fee goes right back to our players and covers several extras throughout the season, including team gear, special events, and end-of-season activities:

-
Shooter shirt – Team gear for players to wear on game days and at warm-ups
-
Meal for the longest away game – A meal provided for players, coaches, and bus drivers
-
Team pizza party – A fun opportunity for players to bond outside of games
-
Banquet fee for the player – Admission for the end-of-season banquet and awards celebration
-
Season gift – A special item for each player (varies by grade level)

Fundraising Options to Offset the Fee
To help families offset the booster fee, we offer several fundraising opportunities throughout the season. Participating in these events not only reduces costs but also supports our program as a whole:

-
Pasquale’s Fundraiser (November) – Includes items such as pepperoni rolls, hoagie cards, and pizza cards.
-
Pasquale’s Pizza Kit (January) – A fun and family-friendly way to support the program while raising funds.
-
Lottery Tickets – Each player receives 10 tickets when the booster fee is paid. Ticket sales begin in November, with payouts in January.

How Families Benefit
Your support through the booster fee and fundraisers makes a direct impact on the basketball program. These contributions ensure that:

-
Every player has equal access to team gear, meals, and activities
-
Program costs are shared fairly across all families
-
Out-of-pocket costs are reduced through fundraising opportunities
-
Players enjoy memorable experiences like team parties, special gifts, and the end-of-season banquet
-
The program can provide a strong, unified experience for all athletes, coaches, and families
5
Additional Fees
In addition to the booster fee, there are a few optional or coach-directed expenses that families should be aware of:

-
Warmup Gear (Grades 9–12 only) – Players in high school may be required by their coaches to purchase warmup gear. This cost is paid directly by families if required.
-
Pictures – Families may choose to purchase individual or team pictures. This is an optional cost and paid directly to the photographer.
These items are not included in the booster fee but are shared here to provide a complete picture of potential expenses for the season.

What SABBA Pays For
In addition to the booster fees, SABBA raises money through concession sales, 50/50 raffles, and other fundraisers. These funds go directly back into supporting the program and covering important expenses such as:

-
Coaches’ Gear – Providing apparel and equipment for coaches to represent the program
-
Scholarships – Awarded to student-athletes to support their future goals
-
Senior Night – Honoring our graduating players with a special celebration
-
Senior Banners – Recognizing senior athletes with personalized banners displayed during the season
-
Senior Banquet - Covering costs for the end-of-season banquet where players, coaches, and families celebrate the year’s achievements
-
Offseason leagues - Helping to fund team participation in summer and offseason leagues to keep athletes developing their skills year-round
By sharing these costs, we ensure that all funds raised are used to strengthen the program and celebrate our athletes.
