Head Coach
Tony Grenek
Tony Grenek enters his 31st year of coaching basketball and his 2nd year as the head coach of the Shaler Area Girls Basketball program.
Coach Grenek grew up in Butler, PA and graduated from Butler High School in 1990. As a high school player, his team won back-to-back section championships. He was an all-conference player that led his team in scoring, assists, and steals while being named team co-MVP his senior year. Grenek also was a two-time all-conference point guard at the Butler County Community College where his team won the conference title and Junior College Pennsylvania State title in 1991. In two years at the Butler County Community College, he had over 500 in the following: points, steals, and assists.
Coach Grenek resides in Ross Township with his wife, Megan, and their two children, Marley and Trey.
